Bexar County won’t officially decide on its new district attorney until November, but voters must take their first steps toward selecting the next top prosecutor in March.

The software "has every image of every ballot that's been voted in Bexar County since 2019," Elections Administrator Michele Carew said.

The district clerk is the registrar and recordkeeper for Bexar County's 27 state district courts, both criminal and civil. They handle all case filings, court fees and official case documents as well as jury administration. District courts handle felony criminal cases, divorces, child custody disputes and major civil lawsuits.
