Travelers who don't present an acceptable form of ID to TSA agents will now be able to pay ahead of time or at the airport — but it doesn't mean they're guaranteed to fly.

The TSA began enforcing Real ID requirements on February 1, requiring passengers without the compliant identification to pay a $45 fee before boarding domestic and international flights.
