Mentor Graphics Corp. is attempting to disprove the old adage that you don’t get anything for free. The EDA company today said it would offer free training to unemployed design engineers in the U.S.
At one time, 46-year-old design engineer Bill Bohan of Dallas and 44-year-old analog designer William Reyes of Tucson, Ariz., had little in common. One grew up in Dallas; the other was born in Japan.
