U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has agreed ​to testify before ​the House Oversight Committee over ⁠his past ties ​to the late disgraced ​financier Jeffrey Epstein, Axios reported on Tuesday.

Lutnick said last month he visited Jeffrey Epstein’s private island in 2012, seven years after he claimed to have cut ties with the convicted sex offender.

The former president and first lady sat for extraordinary closed-door interviews with the House Oversight Committee last week.
