Watch kea Tapui fly through this agility course with ease! An agility course is not only fun and mentally stimulating for our kea, it’s also a great tool to encourage behaviours that help us take better care of them at the zoo. Bird keeper Chris is Tapui’s primary trainer and has been working with him for 7 years, hence their amazing relationship. Chris uses the blue target stick (each of our kea have their own colour!) to move him to specific areas where the team can check for mobility, eyesigh
