Surprise! Pregnant horses DO and are ALLOWED to ship to slaughter. We rescued Kit in November of 2022 OUT OF THE DIRECT SHIP TO SLAUGHTER PEN. She was one I couldn’t touch, but it was clear to me she was pregnant.
